Some guy shows up at my door in a brown truck, he claims he is from WOW cable and states he's there to pick up the DVR and Modem and hands me a hand written invoice, it had the make, model & serial number of my DVR & Modem. He wanted me to hand this over to him. He did not have a WOW cable badge. I asked him a few questions and it just didn't feel right and I told him no I was not just going to hand WOW cable things over to him.
He proceeds to say to me, well your going to have to pay like $1,000 dollars, I told him no I wasn't.
When he left I called WOW cable immediately and customer service stated they do not do hand written Invoices and whomever showed up was not from them.
4/24/2012 I received the following from WOW cable when a WOW cable tech came out to retrieve their stuff. This is showing Fraud
